Yes. KeeperLog has a free tier that lets you track your animals without paying anything. Premium tiers with extra features are available if you want them.
All of them. KeeperLog was built for reptile keepers, but the timeline model works for any animal: snakes, geckos, tortoises, amphibians or anything else you keep.

No. KeeperLog is a phone-and-laptop tool. The only thing you might want to add is a printed QR sticker per enclosure or animal — and we generate those for you.
Yes. You can publish a profile for any animal with its own URL. You decide what is visible (photos, weight, feeding history, species info) and what stays private.
No. KeeperLog does not diagnose, does not assess symptoms and does not give medical advice. What KeeperLog does is build the record your vet wants to see: feeding history, weight curve, shed cycles, documented treatments. Bring the profile link to your next visit instead of trying to reconstruct from memory.

For breeders, shops & rescues
A buyer reading a real, public care history (feeding records, weight curve, shed history) gets concrete evidence of how the animal was raised. That is a stronger trust signal than a screenshot of a notes app.
Yes. A QR or shared link to a public profile lets the new owner see exactly what the animal received in your care: feedings, last shed, last vet check and any husbandry notes you choose to share.
Especially for rescues. KeeperLog is built to document recovery: weight gain over weeks, shed cycles returning to normal, treatments, vet visits. A public profile becomes a transparent recovery story for adopters and supporters.
Care sharing for hobby keepers and role-based access for shops are both on the roadmap*. The core platform already supports per-user attribution on every entry.
Data, privacy & export
Yes. All uploaded files are encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed with PBKDF2 + SHA-512 with a server-side pepper, and there is no third-party tracking. You can export and delete your data at any time.
Yes. KeeperLog supports full GDPR-compliant data export. You can download all your data at any time from the settings page.
It stays yours. You can export everything as JSON or PDF at any time, and delete your account in one click. No lock-in, no "30-day grace" tricks.
We ship in public, in small slices, every few weeks. Items marked with * across the site are in active development. We do not pre-announce dates we cannot keep.
Yes. KeeperLog is a responsive web app that works on any device with a browser. No app store download needed.
KeeperLog was built by a reptile keeper who needed a proper care record and could not find one. It is a passion project that became a real product, and it is still maintained by a keeper rather than a corporation.
